If you are still considering a home business in direct sales, but have not yet made that decision, today’s USA Today had an excellent article in the Money section. CLICK HERE TO READ IT
After reading this article, it should be a simple decision on which Company to choose. Here are a few questions to consider-
Are the products sales a big part of the income? If so, are they quality products that you like, use and have a passion about sharing with others.
Is it a consumable product, giving you a reorder business?
Is it possible to make money WITHOUT recruiting? ( some people choose not to add that extra avenue of income for whatever reason)
Is there a big turnaround in representatives, or do you know of many who have been in business for over a decade?
Does the company do advertising for you?
Does the company provide a web site for you?
Is education available for you as needed, using whatever method you choose?
Is it possible to find a mentor who has already been successful in direct sales?
Look at other avenues of income for leadership positions, including cars, life insurance, retirement packages and other benefits.
Feel free to fill out the contact form above if you would like for me to give you a free 15 minute consultation. I’d love to help you decide what is best for YOU!
If you are reading this you probably are already an entrepreneur in a direct sales home business. Or maybe you are still just “thinking” about it. There is NO perfect time. The lights are never all green at the same time. Maybe you just need to stop thinking and start doing. Whenever you make a decision from your heart, it is usually the best one for you and it comes quickly. Whenever you over analyize things, it makes your decision more difficult and you forget what your heart is telling you to do.
I can’t promise you success in my company or in any other direct sales company. What I can promise you is that you will never know unless you try. Give it an honest year of your life, and follow the lead of someone that you know has already been successful. Just do it! I’d rather be a person who says “I’m glad that I did “,instead of “I wish that I had!” Your investment of money is minimal for what you can get in return. Your investment in time will give you life lessons that you can always use and pass on to your family! I’m changing lives- one face at a time. What about you?
Keep your dreams alive! YOU can make a difference in many other lives! This is so tender, it reminds me of my grandchildren. Sometimes it takes becoming childlike to believe in yourself again. Hope that you enjoy this. If you can’t view this click here.
Most of you have seen all over the television and media how Direct Sales home businesses are the answer for many women who are looking to make extra money or replace income that was recently lost. Many of my family and friends have been asking me how this is possible during what many call a recession. I believe that there are several reasons, but to me the most significant it the competitive edge! Not everyone is taking advantage of this, are you?
Now that I have your interest, I will tell you what that competitive edge is- the ability to get your favorite products FOR FREE when you love it , but just can’t afford it. When I contact my customers to see if they are running low on any of their favorite products or if they would like some pampering, many of them say, “I would love to, but I can’t afford it right now”. I then proceed to get her “wish list”. She then becomes my business partner as I coach her as to how she can get everything that she wants for free- as a hostess! This can be done in her home, or about 80% of my customers like to come to my Beauty Boutique for their pampering, and they love coming with friends, making it a party.
Others choose to do a web party. They simply send their coworkers, or family and friends to my personal web site to shop. They enter the hostess name in the comments section because I usually have more than one web party going at all times. With a web party, there is no limit to how many can participate, so all of those small purchases add up. (In my company there are 90 products for $10 or less!)
When a customer tells me what she wants for a reorder, I then I ask her would you like to pay for that or get it free? Most ask what I mean by free and I explain to her how she can get it. In my experience during recession times there is more women who are willing to do parties, and much more recruiting as a solution for many women.
Are you using that competitive edge? Or are you trying to make your money without it? You will notice an immediate increase in income when you DECIDE to take advantage of it!

This is a perfect example of why I have the most loyal customers. The products are the best! I actually had some customers place orders on my personal web site while I was in Australia visiting my son and his family. ( I had contacted them all before I left to see if they needed any of their basic items.) Because we have an awesome Customer delivery service, I was able to have their products shipped directly to them! I normally have a very good supply of everything, but rather than make my customers wait for me to get home, it was a good decision for me to have the products shipped directly to them.
This kind of service is what creates customers for life. Serving them even when it is not convenient for you is what causes them to tell a friend, or even create a video like this one. (I do not know this person and she is NOT my customer) I am certain that just about any of my customers have had a similar experience where they ran out of something and didn’t want to “bother” me and bought something else. For that reason, once a year I have a Spring Cleaning Sale. I encourage them to bring their buying mistakes and trade them in for new products and get a discount by doing this. (I never figured out why someone would keep something that doesn’t work. It’s like eating moldy bread, isn’t it?) So what do you think?
Another lesson that became very evident to me in my recent travels to Australia is that each and every single living creature (including people) is totally unique. We had an opportunity to visit the Great Barrier Reef and do some snorkeling. Not only was the coral so very beautiful, but it took many years for each one to develop yet no two were alike.
We are also in a constant state of learning and developing like that coral. Our lifetime is much shorter than the coral, so we need to make the most of each and every day. Did you know what is the biggest obstacle that I encounter when I talk to women about starting a business like mine? Most women think that they need to BECOME ME or build a business just like mine. Think about that. Since everyone has different skills, talents, abilities, and backgrounds that determine what they need to learn in business, each person is starting from a different place. In addition to that, everyone has different needs that a home business in direct sales can fulfill.
For example, I started my business over 23 years ago because I wanted the ability to work around my family’s schedule, yet still contribute to the household income. Many other women without a family enjoy the same flexibility to allow them to work another job that they either still enjoy, or cannot afford to leave until they get their business off the ground. It’s my job as a Sales Director to help you determine what your individual needs are and show you how your business can fulfill those needs.
I have women that have been a part of my unit for decades. The reason that they started their business may be totally different from why they stayed. Honestly, I have never seen two businesses that are completely alike. Some women prefer to work evenings and weekends, while others never have a desire to work those hours. Since there is no quota, you are free to determine where and when you work. I choose to do about 80% of my business in my home. I have a Beauty Boutique and Education Center right on my property. Other women choose to have another location and go to other people’s homes or offices to do business.
The point that I am trying to make today is for you not to prejudge. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else when making a decision to start or grow your direct sales business. I am still enjoying the freedom and flexibility to put my family first, even though my children are now grown. I have 3 grandchildren living all over the world. It’s such a joy to still have the ability to be present for anything important in their lives, and just build relationships with them, creating memories along the way.
I am so thankful for everything that my business has provided for me all of these years! Perhaps it can add value to your life too, but remember, you have your own course to chart. You are the captain of your own ship and it may look very different from mine. Your destination may also be different from mine, but I would love the opportunity to talk to you about how I can help you by sharing my own personal experiences.
